High Level Training Course in Architecture for Fashion

 

High Level Training Course in Architecture for Fashion organized by the Foundation in cooperation with Casabella magazine and the University of Bologna.

Fashion Research Italy is a non-profit Foundation founded in May 2015 in Bologna by Alberto Masotti (former president of the La Perla Fashion Group) as a cultural hub for research in the fashion field and fashion studies. Detailed information at the link.

The Foundation has newly open a 7,000 sqm training-museum hub in Bologna and aims to support "Made in Italy" fashion companies also by means of several training projects that would offer new skills to professionals.

Hence, the course in Architecture for Fashion is the first training course in Italy that aims to develop technical and construction topics related to architecture for the fashion and luxury fields with the support of internationally-renowned design studios.

Up to 20 students will be admitted to the training course, 10 of whom will benefit from the 10 scolarships allocated by the Foundation. The training course will be made of 122 hours of lectures, 60 hours of  workshops and a stage in renowned design studios like OMA, MVRDV, Zaha Hadid Architects, Jean Nouvel Design, Studio Italo Rota, Lombardinni22, Duccio Grassi Architects, Claudio Silvestrin Architects, 5+1AA, Casabella.

Registrations will be open until 27th October 2017 and the course will take place between November 2017 and January 2018, while the interships will start within April 2018.
