You are cordially invited to participate in the conference Redefining Cities in View of Climatic Changes 2023 organized by the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology on December 7-8, 2023. We are planning to have thematic sessions with the participation of invited guests. The topics that we would like to address during the conference are:
- THE CITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE - SELECTED ISSUES
- SUSTAINABLE LIVING ENVIRONMENT IN THE FACE OF URBAN
- HOW TO MINIMIZE A BUILDING'S EMBEDDED CARBON FOOTPRINT - MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGIES
- THE INTERDISCIPLINARY PROCESS OF SUSTAINABLE BUILDING DESIGN
- CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION THROUGH GREEN AND BLUE INFRASTRUCTURE
- INNOVATIONS IN PRO-CLIMATE DESIGN - MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGIES
- REVITALIZATION, MODERNIZATION, RECONSTRUCTION, EXPANSION, RENOVATION - USING EXISTING RESOURCES AS A BASIS FOR SUSTAINABLE DESIGN AND FUNCTIONING OF THENATURAL BUILDING
- CRITERIA FOR THE EVALUATION OF SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE (incl. regulations, standards, certification systems, European taxonomy)
- INCLUSIVE BUILT ENVIRONMENT (social issues, participation, accessibility)
- EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE
The conference language is English.
You are also welcome to participate without a paper or poster.
Please submit your proposals for oral and poster presentations by November 15, 2023. Speech proposals will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and you will be notified of acceptance by November 20.
