2025 Architecture & Craft Summer Schools – 6th Edition

Applications for our Summer Schools of Architecture & Craft in Bruges and Conques are now closed. This summer, we will welcome no fewer than 34 students from around the world!

The selection process was especially competitive this year due to the high number of applications, a clear sign of growing interest in traditional skills.

These schools are made possible thanks to the support of Ben Pentreath Ltd, Arcas Paris Architecture & Studio Urbain, Robert Adam Architect, ADAM Architecture, Ralf Schmitz Exceptionnel Homes GmbH,
as well as the members of La Table Ronde de l’Architecture. Thank you all!

If you wish to train in the fields of architecture and traditional crafts, we encourage you to apply for our 2026 schools, or to explore the many summer schools offered by the INTBAU network (Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Australia, Mexico, Finland, Sweden, etc.).

MINDCRAFTS Project

TRA is a partner in the MINDCRAFTS project, which offers young people aged 15 to 25 in Belgium the opportunity to discover various traditional construction trades free of charge (carpentry, masonry, stonemasonry, ironwork, mosaic, sgraffito).

Each session features a round-table discussion with our team, followed by an exclusive visit to the workshop of a master craftsman in Belgium.
These exceptional crafts, often overlooked in today’s educational system, deserve to be highlighted to young people, teachers, and parents.

We are looking for schools, teachers, and youth organizations interested in these activities for the year 2025. Please help us spread the word!

Craft Workshops – August 2025

Applications for our August craft workshops are open until 15 May 2025 (00:00 CET)!

  • Ironwork workshop: 18–22 August 2025, led by the master blacksmiths of Dujardyn ArtConcept.
